IV Nutrient Therapy

Restore Vitality with Targeted Nutrient Support

INTRAVENOUS NUTRIENT THERAPY

How does it work?

IV nutrients reach higher concentrations in the bloodstream compared to oral supplementation, leading to rapid and efficient cellular uptake. This process stimulates cells to achieve optimal health by replenishing nutritional deficiencies, strengthening immune function, reducing inflammation, aiding in wound healing, and improving metabolism.

What is the experience like?

Receiving IV nutrient therapy is a comfortable experience. While seated in a reclining chair, venous access is obtained using a small needle or catheter. You can simply put your feet up and relax for 20 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the type of IV administered. It is not uncommon to feel warmth, deep relaxation, or even notice a subtle taste during treatment—these are all normal responses. Approximately 10% of people may feel fatigued for a few hours afterward, followed by enhanced energy, which makes sense as your cells have just been rejuvenated and may require a temporary rest.

Can anyone receive IV nutrient therapy?

IV nutrient therapy is safe and effective for most individuals. However, it may not be advisable for those with kidney or liver disease, as well as congestive heart failure.

What are some health conditions that may benefit?

Several health conditions can potentially benefit from IV nutrient therapy, including inflammatory bowel disease, migraines, neurological conditions, fatigue, chronic infections, chronic inflammation, depression, impaired wound healing, long-term antacid use, and concerns specific to the elderly population.

Many individuals do not have a specific health condition; instead, they receive intravenous nutrient therapy for overall wellness and disease prevention.

How do I best prepare for treatment?

Please ensure you arrive hydrated and have had a meal within 3 hours of receiving treatment. You may also want to bring along a book or headphones to enhance your relaxation during the session.

Do I have to become a patient of Dr. Murphy’s to receive IV therapy?
